Eggnog Coffee Recipe

I am a total sucker for Starbucks Eggnog Lattes. When the Christmas season comes around I make sure to get my fill before they are gone.

But, I no longer live near a Starbucks. The closest one is 40 minutes away. So it is time to start making them myself at home. I always order my coffees iced so that is how I make it at home. But it is just as easy to make a hot eggnog latte, just omit the ice and use fresh brewed hot coffee instead of cold brew.

And I wanted this recipe to be easier than going to a coffee shop. So we are using all store bought ready ingredients. Eggnog, cold brew coffee and caramel sauce.

Did Starbucks Discontinue Eggnog Lattes?

Oh my gosh you guys, what the heck Starbucks? I had no idea about this until after I made the recipe and was writing up my post. Apparently, yes. Starbucks has discontinued their Eggnog Lattes for this year. Pumpkin Spice is still a thing but Eggnog got the axe. I have some really strong feelings about this 😆

I guess it’s a good thing I (and now you) can make them at home. Not only is the homemade version much more convenient, it’s a lot cheaper too.

How To Make A Hot Latte With Eggnog

It is basically the same as this iced version. Just omit the ice and use fresh brewed hot coffee instead of cold brew.

I use a 3/4 coffee to 1/4 eggnog ratio. You can adjust that to fit your preferences.
