So don’t come for me – this recipe is inspired by the McRib. Is it going to taste just like the McDonalds version? No. It tastes better, made with real non-sus ingredients. It has that McRib essence that will curb your cravings when they are not available. Or who knows, you may just decide you prefer the homemade version after all.

Bake a batch of fries to serve alongside your homemade McRib and sweet tea or a Coke. No need for drive-thru!

Recipe Tips:

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • If your buns are larger than the pork patty – cut the ends off or cut a piece out of the middle of the bun to fit.
  • Use your favorite BBQ sauce.
  • You can also add cheese, lettuce or tomato to these sandwiches if you prefer.
