Cooking Salmon In Oven
Baked Salmon Fillet is my go-to healthy dinner. It is quick, easy and tastes amazing! You have so many flavor options, this time we are going with lemon.
This salmon is great served with rice, vegetables or pasta.
Ingredients Needed For Lemon Salmon (screenshot for grocery list)
- Salmon Fillet
- Lemons
- Olive Oil
- Salt/Pepper
- Fresh Dill
How To Cook Salmon In The Oven
- Preheat oven to 375ºF
- Generously salt salmon fillet. Transfer to greased rimmed baking sheet.
- Whisk lemon juice, zest, oil, salt and pepper until fully incorporated.
- Pour mixture over salmon then top salmon with sliced lemons.
- Bake for 15 minutes then broil on high 2-3 minutes or until salmon is cooked through.
- Sprinkle with dill and serve.
What Temp Should Salmon Be Cooked At?
According to the FDA, salmon should be cooked to an internal temperature of 145°.
How To Tell If Salmon Is Done Baking
Test the thickest part of the middle. When salmon is cooked through it will no longer be shiny and reddish inside. It will have turned pink like the outside and begin to flake apart with a fork.
