Do I have to press tofu?

Pressing is highly recommended. Removing moisture helps the tofu crisp up and absorb flavor better. If you’re short on time, even 10 minutes helps.

What type of tofu works best?

Extra-firm tofu works best because it holds its shape and gets crispy. Firm tofu works, but it may be slightly softer.

Can I bake instead of skillet-cooking?

Absolutely. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, then toss with BBQ sauce and bake 5 more minutes.

How do I store leftovers?

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in a skillet or air fryer to restore crispiness.
