PUMPKIN BREAD PUDDING RECIPE
Ingredients
- 16 Ounces French Bread or Thickly Sliced Bread
- 1 Can Pumpkin Puree 15 ounces
- 1 ½ Cups Half and Half
- ½ Cup Whole Milk
- ½ Cup Brown Sugar packed
- ½ Cup White Granulated Sugar
- 5 Eggs
- 3 Teaspoons Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350º F. Spray cake pan with nonstick. Set aside.
- Mix together pumpkin puree, half and half, milk, pumpkin pie spice, salt, eggs, both sugars, and vanilla in an extra large mixing bowl until fully combined.
- Chop bread into large chunks.
- Add bread chunks to the bowl with the pumpkin mixture. Soak for about 10 minutes.
- Transfer mixture into your prepared pan, making sure that it’s an even layer. Bake 40-45 minutes or until firm and not soggy.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for about 10 minutes before garnishing and serving.
