Ingredients

  • 16 Ounces French Bread or Thickly Sliced Bread
  • 1 Can Pumpkin Puree 15 ounces
  • 1 ½ Cups Half and Half
  • ½ Cup Whole Milk
  • ½ Cup Brown Sugar packed
  • ½ Cup White Granulated Sugar
  • 5 Eggs
  • 3 Teaspoons Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350º F. Spray cake pan with nonstick. Set aside.
  • Mix together pumpkin puree, half and half, milk, pumpkin pie spice, salt, eggs, both sugars, and vanilla in an extra large mixing bowl until fully combined.
  • Chop bread into large chunks.
  • Add bread chunks to the bowl with the pumpkin mixture. Soak for about 10 minutes.
  • Transfer mixture into your prepared pan, making sure that it’s an even layer. Bake 40-45 minutes or until firm and not soggy.
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for about 10 minutes before garnishing and serving.
