Remember when Grandma would make a large casserole dish sized Banana Pudding dessert? We are making mini versions of that classic dessert. Because these are served in individual cups they are great for parties, potlucks and holidays.

What Do You Need To Make Banana Pudding Cups:

  • banana pudding mix
  • milk
  • Cool Whip
  • Nilla Wafers
  • banana
  • plastic cups

Recipe Tips:

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days in a covered container. 
  • Vanilla pudding mixed with banana extract or a small mashed banana can be substituted for banana pudding.

Ingredients

  • 1 3.4oz banana pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 8oz tub Cool Whip
  • 20 Nilla Wafers crushed
  • 8 Nilla Wafers whole
  • 1 large banana sliced
  • 8 plastic cups for serving
  • Optional* Extra Nilla wafers for garnish

Instructions

  • Whisk together pudding mix and cold milk in a large mixing bowl until well combined and no lumps remain.
  • Chill mixture in the refrigerator for 5 minutes to thicken up.
  • Mix the Cool Whip into the pudding until just combined.
  • Divide half of the crushed Nilla wafers between your 8 serving cups.
  • Add a few scoops of the banana pudding mixture to each cup to fill halfway.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining crushed wafers and pudding.
  • Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  • Garnish the top of each pudding cup with several banana slices and a whole Nilla wafer before serving.
