Strawberry Overnight Oats

Starting the year off right, no diet or restrictions just simple nutritious food. Eating a healthy breakfast has always been difficult for me because I am not a morning person. I need something that I can just grab and eat. This Strawberry and Cream No Cook Oatmeal is perfect for morning zombies, like me.

Heart healthy oatmeal filled with fiber is a great way to start each day.

Ingredients Needed For Strawberry Cream Overnight Oatmeal (screenshot for grocery list)

  • Oatmeal
  • Unsweetened Coconut Milk
  • Strawberries
  • Sweetener of Choice
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Whipped Cream

How To Make No Cook Oatmeal

  1. Combined all ingredients in container. (I use a large mason jar)
  2. Refrigerate overnight.
  3. Serve with fresh strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream.

Do You Eat Overnight Oats Hot Or Cold

This is a preference thing. I enjoy overnight oats cold out of the refrigerator. My daughter prefers warm oatmeal so I transfer hers to a glass bowl and microwave for 30-60 seconds.

Which Oats Are Best For Overnight Oatmeal

This recipe calls for Old Fashioned Oats because I think those are what most people will enjoy. Instant oats will become too soft and mushy for overnight oats.

Steel cut oats can be used but will have more of a bite or chew to them. I actually prefer steel cut for this reason.

I just ran across your website and I love it except for one little thing but a big deal to me. You do not include the nutritional information. I am a diabetic and I need to watch the carbs and sugar. I hope some time in the future, you will be able to include this vital information.
