TURKEY BREAST RECIPE

SMOKED TURKEY BREAST is a great way to make extra turkey for your family feast. You’ll be sure to have enough sliced turkey for serving and it will have a unique flavor, different from the traditional oven baked turkey.

RECIPE TIPS:

  • Reserving some butter after cooking the turkey makes a great addition to gravy, potatoes, vegetables, etc.
  • Feel free to use your favorite spice blend for this recipe. I used Cajun seasoning but lemon pepper, Italian, poultry or any other seasoning will work just fine.
  • Store turkey in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or the freezer for up to 3 months.
  • Wood options: hickory or any fruit wood is best for this recipe.
  • This recipe works for the oven and offset smokers as well.
