Stovetop Buttered Corn

Vegetable side dishes do not have to be complicated to be delicious. This buttery herb corn will be a family favorite.

It is quick, easy and inexpensive. We are using frozen corn kernels. I rarely use canned vegetables because I find those to be lacking in flavor and to have the consistency of mush. Frozen veggies on the other hand are almost as good as fresh veggies. You lose a bit of the crispness but the flavor is definitely there. And you can’t beat the convenience of always having vegetables on hand.

This frozen corn recipe is keeping it simple with butter, salt, pepper and fresh bright herbs.

Do You Need To Thaw Frozen Corn Before Cooking?

No. I take the corn straight from the freezer to the fry pan. Just make sure your pan is hot and ready to go.
