- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon pickle juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish
- Fresh chives finely chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Hard boil the eggs using your preferred method. Here is the method I use: How To Make Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs
- Peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and place them in a bowl. Set egg whites aside.
- Mash the egg yolks with a fork, then add mayonnaise, softened butter, Dijon mustard, pickle juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into the egg whites, creating a generous filling in each half.
- Garnish each deviled egg with a sprinkle of paprika and a pinch of chopped chives.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld and yolk filling to firm.
