EASY ICING RECIPE
This is my absolute favorite frosting, I could eat an entire bowl-full. It is a basic buttercream icing with the addition of marshmallow fluff. The fluff adds a lightness to the frosting as well as a subtle marshmallow flavor.
WHAT DOES MARSHMALLOW ICING TASTE LIKE?
This marshmallow fluff icing is sweet with a mild flavor of marshmallow.If you love buttercream frosting but would prefer it lighter and fluffier, this frosting is for you.
WHAT IS MARSHMALLOW FROSTING MADE OF?
This icing starts with a basic buttercream; butter, powdered sugar, salt and vanilla. Marshmallow fluff is the secret ingredient in this frosting.
FROSTING STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. I like to line plastic wrap directly on top of the frosting to keep the top layer from becoming stiff. Store in the refrigerator for up to one week or frosting can be frozen up to three months.

MARSHMALLOW FROSTING RECIPE
Ingredients
- 2 Sticks Unsalted Butter - softened 1 cup
- 7 ounce Container Marshmallow Fluff
- Pinch Salt
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2-3 Cups Powdered Sugar
- 2-4 teaspoons Heavy Cream
Instructions
- Whip butter, marshmallow fluff, salt and vanilla until light and creamy.
- Gradually add powdered sugar 1/2 cup at a time, mixing between each addition. Add powdered sugar to your desired sweetness.
- Add heavy cream 1 teaspoon at a time to desired consistency.
