MARSHMALLOW FROSTING RECIPE

This Marshmallow Frosting Recipe is great for topping any cake. Buttercream icing with the addition of marshmallow fluff makes light as a cloud frosting with a hint of marshmallow flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 Sticks Unsalted Butter - softened 1 cup
  • 7 ounce Container Marshmallow Fluff
  • Pinch Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2-3 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • 2-4 teaspoons Heavy Cream

Instructions

  • Whip butter, marshmallow fluff, salt and vanilla until light and creamy.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar 1/2 cup at a time, mixing between each addition. Add powdered sugar to your desired sweetness.
  • Add heavy cream 1 teaspoon at a time to desired consistency.

Notes

This recipe makes enough frosting for an 8 inch two layer cake or 24 cupcakes.
