Everything But The Bagel Seasoning

I absolutely love the Everything But The Bagel Seasoning from Trader Joe’s. One thing I have never loved about it is the amount of salt. All of the salt sinks to the bottom of the jar so the last few times you use it, it is overly salty.

This homemade version of Everything But The Bagel Seasoning does not include salt. That is intentional because I prefer to add salt to my dishes separately. If you prefer to add salt to your seasoning blend, go for it.

What Is Everything Bagel Season Made Of

Just four ingredients: dried onion, dried garlic, poppy seeds and sesame seeds.

I like to use black sesame seeds and tan sesame seeds. You can use both or just one.

  • Minced Dried Onion
  • Minced Dried Garlic
  • Black Sesame Seeds
  • Tan Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • Poppy Seeds

How To Make Homemade Everything But The Bagel Seasoning

Mix all ingredients then transfer to an airtight spice container or glass jar.
