What Are The Ingredients For Deviled Eggs

  • Large Eggs
  • Mayonnaise
  • Spicy Brown Mustard
  • Salt/Pepper
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Parsley

How To Make Classic Deviled Eggs

Hard boil the eggs using your preferred method.

Cool then peel eggs. Slice each egg in half, lengthwise.

Transfer yolks to small bowl.

Mash yolks into fine crumbles using a fork. Add mayo, mustard, salt and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy. Add more mayo 1 Tb at a time to reach desired consistency.

Spoon yolk mixture into egg whites. Sprinkle with paprika and chopped parsley.

*I boil 8 eggs to make 12 deviled eggs because I usually massacre at least 1 egg white during the peeling process, sometimes 2*

Can Deviled Eggs Be Made Ahead

Yes they can. Prep the whites and the yolk mixture but hold off on filling the whites. Store egg whites in an airtight container. Store yolk mixture in a bowl with plastic wrap pressed gently on top of mixture.

Fill deviled eggs the day they will be served. They can be prepped up to 2 days ahead this way.
