CHEESEBURGER SLIDERS

These are basically simple delicious cheeseburger sliders with Big Mac Sauce to amp them up. The burger patties are baked flat on a baking sheet. Then just assemble the Big Mac Sliders and bake until cheese is melted for the ultimate party dish.

INGREDIENT OPTIONS:

  • Dinner rolls or slider burger buns will work in place of the Hawaiian Rolls.
  • Add more to your burgers if preferred, such as: tomatoes, grilled onions, jalapeños, bacon, etc.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 6 slices american cheese
  • Pickle chips
  • 12 count hawaiian rolls
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • Big Mac Sauce:
  • ½ cup mayo
  • 2 tablespoons french dressing
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 4 teaspoons sweet relish
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F degrees.
  • Lightly spray 9x13 baking sheet and a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a small bowl, combine all ingredients together for the big mac sauce. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Mix well.
  • Press beef mixture onto the baking sheet, making a flat rectangle. Bake for 12-14 min or until beef is cooked through.
  • Cut Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise. Add the bottom portion of the rolls into your 9x13 baking dish.
  • Spread the big mac sauce evenly onto the bottom of the rolls.
  • Add a layer of the shredded lettuce on top of the sauce.*
  • Place the entire cooked hamburger patty on top of the lettuce layer.
  • Add the American cheese slices on top of the burger.
  • Place the pickle chips on top of the cheese.
  • Add the top portion of the rolls on top.
  • Coat the tops of the buns with the melted butter and sprinkle on the sesame seeds.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and cook for an additional 10 minutes in the oven to melt the cheese.
  • Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

*If you do not prefer the lettuce to be heated, add lettuce on top of pickles after removing sliders from oven.
