FRUIT SALAD

Fresh fruit salad is always a hit at parties, holidays and picnics. This blend of fresh berries and oranges is tossed in a tangy lime honey dressing.

The kids especially love this salad and it is a great way to get them to eat more fruit.

BERRY OPTIONS:

Add or omit berries to fit your preferences. Pomegranate and cherries taste great in this salad.

DRESSING OPTIONS:

Sweeten the dressing to your preferred taste.

Feel free to add chopped mint or basil for an extra pop of flavor.

BERRY FRUIT SALAD STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:

Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 day.

To prepare ahead, mix fruit then refrigerate. The berries, especially the raspberries, are fragile and should be added just before serving. Toss with dressing just before serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 Lb Strawberries quartered
  • 3 Oranges segmented and halved
  • 8 oz Raspberries
  • 8 oz Blackberries
  • 1 Lb Blueberries
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 teaspoon Honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  • In large bowl, add strawberries, orange, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries.
  • Whisk together lime juice and honey.
  • Pour dressing over berries, toss gently. Serve.
