For all of those last minute holiday menu planners out there, here is a great New Year’s Eve appetizer. This Goat Cheese Dip is quick, easy and unique. Everyone will go crazy for the Za’atar spice.
I can’t take credit for this flavor combo. Trader Joe’s carries a goat cheese log rolled in Za’atar spice. I bought it on a whim even though goat cheese is not my favorite and I had never tried Za’atar spice. What can I say, I like to try different things and am very bad about impulse purchasing.
It tasted fantastic. I just found myself wishing it was creamier and dip-able. So, I made it exactly how I wanted it.

I feel so lucky because I have everything in the house to make this luscious dip ~ Happy New Year!
Yes! Happy New Year 🙂
Is it OK to use the TJ log instead of buy the spice?
Absolutely. That is how I did it the first time. I figured I would make a recipe that anyone could do with or without TJ’s 🙂
Good article, just to the point, happy holidays!
