Breakfast Hash Recipe

This is one of those super simple breakfast recipes that is so satisfying. Very little prep then just frying up your favorite sausage and potatoes.

Season simply with salt and pepper or use your favorite seasoning blend. I like to use my grinder Italian seasoning blend.

This is also fantastic topped with shredded melty cheese. Or crack a few eggs in there shortly before the hash is done cooking. This breakfast hash is wonderful as is or with additions such as onions, peppers, cheese and eggs.

How To Make Fried Breakfast Hash

  1. Brown and crumble sausage in large bottom pot or pan. I use a potato masher to achieve small crumbles. Cook to desired crispness. Remove and set aside. Leave oil in pan.
  2. Add potatoes to pan and fry over medium/high heat. Add additional oil as needed. Toss and fry until potatoes are browned and tender.
  3. Add sausage back to pan. Season with salt, pepper and seasoning blend. Toss and serve.
