Noodles with Butter and Garlic

There’s something magical about the combination of butter, garlic, and pasta. It’s rich, savory, and incredibly comforting. Best of all, you don’t need any fancy ingredients or advanced cooking skills to make it. Whether served as a main dish or a side, noodles with butter and garlic delivers big flavor with minimal effort.

Garlic butter noodles are incredibly versatile. Serve them as a side with grilled chicken, shrimp, or roasted vegetables. Or keep it simple and enjoy them as a standalone dish with a glass of white wine.

Garlic and Butter Noodles

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Eggs Noodles
  • 1/3 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves peeled and roughly chopped
  • Half a bunch of parsley
  • Half a bunch of fresh dill
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp or more chili pepper flakes
  • Pepper and salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup of Mature Cheddar cheese You can substitute with another hard cheese, such as Parmesan

Instructions

Prepare the pasta:

  • Fill large pot with water.
  • Bring water to boil. Add noodles and cook according to package instructions.

Prepare Herbs:

  • In a small food processor, pulse parsley, dill and juice of one lemon. Blend for a few seconds until the herbs are cut into small pieces.
  • Notes: If you don’t have a chopper, you can very finely chop the parsley and dill. In a bowl, mix the green ingredients and pour the lemon juice. Stir well.
  • Set aside.

Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • Put the butter in a pan and let it melt over medium heat. Do not let it burn.
  • Add the onion and garlic. Cook for 10 minutes or until the onion is soft. Add the chili pepper, black pepper and fry for 1 minute.

Assemble:

  • Drain the noodles.
  • Add noodles to the pan with the garlic and butter. Stir well
  • Add the grated cheddar and herbs.
