These soda floats are perfect for Valentine’s Day or for a girl baby shower – gender reveal party. A simple combo of soda and ice cream then it’s all about the garnishes.
For a fun party idea – make a soda float bar. Let folks garnish their floats to their hearts desire.

CUPID FLOATS
These CUPID FLOATS are a super cute and easy Valentine's Day dessert. A mixture of vanilla ice cream and red soda with lots of pink garnishes.
Ingredients
- Pink Strawberry Icing
- Pink Sprinkles
- (3) scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1 can or bottle of Big Red or any red soda
- Mini Swirl Strawberry Shortcake Cones
- Pink Rock Candy
- (3) Maraschino Cherries
Instructions
- Start by dipping the rim of your glass into your strawberry icing, or spread it around the rim with a knife.
- Coat the icing in sprinkles.
- Place your ice cream and cherries in the glass.
- Cut a small tip off the end of your ice cream cone. Cut a skewer down to size, to stand a little taller than your glass.
- Run the blunt end of the skewer through the bottom of the cone, about half way. Set down in the glass.
- You can leave your rock candy out and use it as a stir, or place it down in the glass as well.
- Fill the glass to the rim with big red.
- Serve and enjoy!
