This Turtle Cheese Ball hits all the sweet spots. We got chocolate, caramel, a creamy chocolaty center and salty pecans.

Recipe Tips:

  • For Food Safety – Heat the cake mix before using. Place dry cake mix to a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30 second increments until it reaches an internal temperature of 160-165°F.
  • Any other cake mix flavor can be used or the cake mix can be omitted all together.
  • Chocolate sauce can be used instead of the melted chocolate frosting.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 1 stick Butter
  • ½ cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 cups Dry Chocolate Cake Mix
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cup Mini Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans
  • ½ cup Chocolate Frosting
  • ½ cup Caramel Sauce

Instructions

  • *For Food Safety – Heat the cake mix before using. Place dry cake mix to a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30 second increments until it reaches an internal temperature of 160-165°F.*
  • Combine cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, cake mix, brown sugar, and mini chocolate chips in a large mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
  • Roll mixture into a ball. Place chopped pecans on a plate and roll the cheeseball in the pecans until fully coated.
  • Place your cheeseball on a serving plate.
  • Microwave chocolate icing for about 15 seconds then pour into a piping bag.
  • Drizzle cheeseball with melted chocolate and caramel sauce.
  • Serve with graham crackers or cookies.
