Buttermilk Ranch Dressing – toss it on your salad, dip your pizza or slather it on just about anything. One thing is for sure, Americans are obsessed with their ranch dressing!

I like this version best because it combines fresh ingredients with the tried and true dry ranch seasoning packet. The flavor is perfection.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • Juice from ½ a lemon
  • Handful of fresh parsley and chives or 2 tablespoons chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves peeled
  • 1 packet Hidden Valley Original Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix 1oz
  • Salt/Pepper - to taste

Instructions

  • In a food processor or blender, blend together the buttermilk, mayonnaise, lemon juice, fresh herbs, garlic and dry ranch dressing mix until smooth.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

I prefer to make the dressing 2-3 hours before serving to allow the flavors to blend. (optional)
