White Chocolate Fruit Dip

After I made my Egg Free Chocolate Mousse I knew that I wanted to make a similar dessert highlighting white chocolate.

This White Chocolate Whipped Cream Dip is made using the same method as the chocolate mousse.  But this dip is lighter and fluffier with a mild white chocolate flavor.  Perfect for dipping strawberries.

Cozy up with your sweetheart and feed each other strawberries dipped in this indulgent White Chocolate Whipped Cream Dip.  Or whatever it is that romantic people do on Valentine’s Day.

{I may very well be the least romantic chick on this planet, HaHa}

Ingredients

  • 1 Bar of White Chocolate, 4oz
  • 1½ Cups Cold Heavy Whipping Cream

Instructions

  1. Break the white chocolate bar into pieces and melt in the microwave for 1½-2 minutes. Stop to stir every 30 seconds. Set aside.
  2. Using a stand mixer with the whisk attachment, whip the heavy cream on medium/high until it thickens and peaks form.
  3. Very quickly add the melted white chocolate and immediately begin whipping the mixture until it is fully incorporated.
  4. *optional: mix in 1-2 Tb of powdered sugar if you prefer a sweeter whipped cream dip*
  5. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate until use. Serve with your favorite fruit or cookies.

Notes

This recipe yields 2½ cups.
I used Lindt White Chocolate because it is my personal favorite.

    Such an easy dessert recipe! And I’m a huge fan of dips. It would be great with a platter of fruit and other dippable goodies!
