Eggnog Ice Cream
Creamy Homemade Eggnog Ice Cream is an excellent chilly holiday treat. Ice cream is another great way to enjoy the rich flavor of eggnog this season. Unlike my Eggnog Caramels, this ice cream has a very distinct eggnog flavor.

Homemade Ice Cream – Eggnog Flavor
The strange thing is, I don’t drink eggnog. But, this season I am obsessed with finding ways to incorporate the wonderful flavor of eggnog into some tasty recipes. I guess I’ve got The Nog on my brain … Do You?
Mix the ingredients and pour into your ice cream maker. If you do not own an ice cream maker, no worries, check out my Homemade Ice Cream 3 Ways post for two alternative methods.
Ingredients:
1 tsp Vanilla
2 Tb Sugar
2 Tb Brown Sugar
Sprinkle of Cinnamon
1 cup Eggnog
1 cup Half & Half
Sprinkle of Fresh Grated Nutmeg
If you do not have whole nutmeg, feel free to omit or to use ground nutmeg. Ground nutmeg may affect the color of the ice cream. This recipe makes approximately 1 pint of ice cream.
