Get fit with Naturally Flavored Water Infused with Fruit and Herbs.  A healthy beverage that is easy to make and tastes great!

three large clear jars filled with water, fruit and herbs

I have been busting my butt in the gym and really eating {and drinking} healthy.  Come this January I will be bikini ready!

Why January?  Well, I will be on a Caribbean cruise in January.  {Excited Squeeeeeeel!}

But I got a ways to go.  Let’s just say I am NOT bikini ready right now.  Bathing suit, yeah sure.  Bikini . . . Nope.

I need to stay hydrated while I sweat the pounds off.  And after my workouts, I am starving.  So I need to pack some healthy snacks and drinks to munch on poolside.

Come January I’ll be sporting my bikini bod on a sandy beach!

Naturally Flavored Water can help you with that last step.  Staying hydrated is easy when it tastes this good!

Naturally Flavored Water:

This isn’t really a recipe, per se.  It is more just mixing flavors that you enjoy and allowing them to flavor the water.

I chose three flavor combinations:

Watermelon, Mint and Lime

Orange, Ginger and Blueberry

Peach, Cherry and Thyme

Just fill a jar or small pitcher with filtered water.  Add in your fruits (crush any fruit that is enclosed, such as blueberries).  If you like herbs, add some.  Go easy on the herbs though.  They really infuse into the water.  One small sprig of thyme and 1-2 mint leaves will do you just fine.  And it doesn’t take more than a small sliver of ginger to add flavor as well.

Let the water sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours and it is ready.  Drink it with the fruit or strain and enjoy!

Love infused waters, thank you for ideas on what else I can do. Orange or cucumber are my standby’s.

I really only drink water. I gave up soda (except for the occasional Mexican Coke) about 10 years ago. And while I love water, sometimes it gets a little boring, I love these ideas to spruce it up a bit!

Good for you, giving up soda. I’ve tried {and failed} many times!

We did a Caribbean Cruise last October… unfortunately it rained at each and every stop we had, but like everyone said it was still warm. Usually I’m a go, go go! person on vacation, so the rain actually helped me slow down, find an umbrella on deck and read. The hot tub in the rain with champagne was pretty darn fabulous too!
I did just like you did and got bikini ready and it felt so good. Love these waters!! I see the watermelon mint happening in my house today!

I’m pretty good at relaxing (and doing nothing) on my vacations. Rain or Shine 😀

Naturally flavored water…oh yeah, this is a good solution.
I remember, when I was visiting India, flavored water was standard choice on breakfast buffet, and it is really working. With temperatures over 50C you are all time thirsty…and you need something calorie free for drinking. Lemon-mint and pomegranate-mint were the best!
And if salted a little bit, it is more efficient and more healthy.
