These pudding cups are a super cute Easter treat that is so simple to make. Make these instead of spending hours preparing and decorating an Easter Cake.

INGREDIENT OPTIONS:

  • Feel free to use the Chick Peeps instead of the bunnies.
  • If you cannot find candy grass, dye sweetened shredded coconut with green food coloring to use as the grass.
  • Any egg shaped candy will work in place of Robin Eggs.

Ingredients

  • ● 1 5.9 oz Box Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix
  • ● 3 Cups Milk
  • ● 14 Oreo Cookies
  • ● Edible Grass
  • ● 6 Short Clear Plastic Cups
  • ● 6 Bunny Peeps
  • ● Whoppers Mini Robin Eggs

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate pudding mix and milk. Whisk for 2minutes until thickened. Refrigerate for at least 5 minutes.
  • Scrape and discard the cream filling from each Oreo cookie. Place the cookies into a large plastic bag. Using a cup or rolling pin, crush the cookies to crumbs.
  • Using food scissors, cut the edible grass into 1/2-inch to 1-inch segments.
  • Assemble the dirt cup by first scooping 1/3 cup of chocolate pudding into plastic cup.
  • Smooth each layer down evenly as you go. Next, layer on 2 tablespoons of Oreo crumbs. Follow with another 1/4 cup of pudding and then another Oreo layer.
  • Top the dirt cup with 1 Peep marshmallow, 3 Whopper mini eggs, and 12-15 cut pieces of edible grass.
  • Allow the dirt cups to chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Serve cold.

Notes

If you cannot find candy grass, dye sweetened shredded coconut with green food coloring to use as the grass.
