Holiday Smoothie or Milkshake Recipe

End your Thanksgiving evening with a cool, refreshing Pumpkin Pie Smoothie and/or Milkshake instead of a heavy dessert.  All of the wonderful Pumpkin Pie flavor without the effort . . . one less thing to bake!

I’m a smoothie gal myself. But hey, what better day to sip on a sinfully delicious milkshake than on Thanksgiving?  No diets allowed on Thanksgiving!

But for those folks that are disciplined enough to watch their figure around the holidays, they can sip on a Pumpkin Pie Smoothie instead.

Nicole, I love your Pumpkin Pie Smoothie and Milkshake! Yes, I love having options- so I can be healthier or more indulgent, just depending on what I darn well please that day! 😉 Thanks for your beautiful traditional Thanksgiving Menu- I love that gorgeous Crock Pot Cranberry Cider. I always serve a themed cocktail, and was having some trouble coming up with something for this year- this may be exactly what I was looking for! 🙂

    Happy Thanksgiving!

    Love, Joy

I’d do the badonk all the way! And then probably once I feel like a huge blimp by the end of the day, a smoothie the next 🙂

I made the milkshake and it sounded so good!! But it turned out terrible :(. I did everything the recipe said I don’t get what happened, it tasted like sucking pumpkin purée through a straw. However I did feel like a whole 15 oz can of pumpkin was a lot..

Hi Alyssa! I appreciate the feedback. While my family enjoys extreme pumpkin recipes, maybe the ‘punch you in the face’ pumpkin flavor isn’t for everyone. I think I’ll update the recipe with an option for a milder pumpkin flavor. Sorry this wasn’t to your tastes. Have a great week!
