Sooo, I have to admit that I am totally obsessed with monthly subscription boxes! I have tried several different types: food, beauty, health and just random stuff. Obviously I lean more towards the food subscription boxes. When given the opportunity to try out Degustabox, I jumped at the chance! Degustabox is a monthly subscription box that is new to the U.S. Try Degustabox and get 10-15 full-size goodies delivered straight to your door! Shipping is free!

You will get this fun box delivered to your door every month. And look at the next photo to peek at my bounty. This box is filled to the brim with surprises!

One of this months products was Vita Coco Coconut Oil which I used to make this luxurious Grapefruit Sea Salt Body Scrub Recipe.

As you can see, the box contains a variety of products and most are full size. There was more than even pictured but it was difficult to get all the products into the photo. Like I said, I have tried other food subscription boxes and honestly they were a little disappointing. I felt like I wasn’t getting the amount of product for the money. I am really happy with what I received in my Degustabox. Dressing, marinade and peanut butter for some easy summertime meals. Popcorn, trail mix and gummy bears to take as pool snacks. And a few random products like lozenges, fancy water and coconut oil. The package also contained some coupons for the products.

All in all a great box of treats! I can’t wait for next month’s box already!

Life is a box full of surprises with Degustabox! Get 50% off your first box now. Shipping is free!

Leave it to me to receive a food subscription box and NOT make a food recipe. Heehee. That’s just how I am.

I have been planning on a body scrub recipe. {Everyone wants silky beautiful skin during bathing suit season!} When I saw the Vita Coco in my Degustabox I figured now is as good a time as any.

I prefer salt scrubs to sugar scrubs. For no particular reason, I just do. And grapefruit is one of my favorite scents so I start with a couple drops of essential oil. The coconut oil gives scrubs that luxurious feel and grape seed oil will keep the sub from solidifying. {you can use almond oil instead of grape seed oil} I added some grapefruit zest to make it look pretty.

This scrub recipe is smaller than I usually make. I have found that I like to use a scrub for a couple weeks then make a different scent. This way I don’t have a cabinet filled with jars and jars of half used scrubs. But, if you prefer to make larger amounts I have increased the measurements within the notes below. The scrub can easily last 6 months if kept in a clean cool place. And if it starts looking funky, toss it and make a new batch!
