This Oven Baked Burgers Recipe is the only way I prepare hamburgers at home. We pan fry the burger patties, assemble the burgers with cheese and secret sauce, wrap then bake to perfection. These are called Messy Burgers at my house, a five napkin meal!

Hamburgers In The Oven

When I say these are Messy Burgers I’m not exaggerating. Line up the napkins and get ready to hunch over your plate while you enjoy this cheeseburger. But trust me, the mess is worth it. Between the burger juices, melty cheese and secret sauce. . . the delicious mess is where the flavor is.

Make two fatty burgers with this recipe or 4 quarter pounders. While these are oven baked burgers, we do pan fry the patties first to get that char and seal in the juices. You want to undercook the patties slightly so that they finish cooking while in the oven.
