I would like to make this ahead of time. Any idea how long it can sit in the fridge? (As long as it isnt found by others!)
Nicole Harris says
It is good for a couple 2-3 days in the fridge. In fact, I think it tastes better after sitting for a day.
g smith says
When using freeze dried dill, do you use the same amount?
Nicole Harris says
Yes, I have used dried and freeze dried. I use the same amount with both.

Thank you for this recipe Nicole! It looks so delicious. It looks like something out of a commercial in those pictures you posted. Making my mouth water. Can’t wait to try this at home! Pickles are one of my favorites, so having it in a dip sounds delish. Thanks again!
Nicole Harris says
Thanks! I can’t stop eating this dip whenever I make it!

I make a similar dip, however I donβt use dill or sour cream. I use ketchup and black pepper. Itβs delicious and when my friends tried it, they all wanted the recipe.
Nicole Harris says
Well that is one I’ve never heard of. I’m always interested to learn about new flavor combos π

Excellent recipe. I’m adding it to my personal recipe collection to put in rotation. We’ve made it several times in the last 6 months…and it is a hit at our weekly church potluck. My lazy self started using dill pickle relish as opposed to all that pickle chopping. Tastes just the same, but saves a lot of time. I’m glad you shared this!
Nicole Harris says
Haha! I am all for recipe shortcuts. This is one of my favorite dips!

This dip will keep well in the refrigerator for days π
Vanessa says
Thanks for sharing! Does it keep long?
Nicole Harris says
Yes, several days in the refrigerator and it is still good π
Maggie says
This looks good, but you said to use full fat sour cream – is there a reason for that? Does it affect the consistency? I was thinking of substituting Fage 5% Greek yogurt for the sour cream and using low fat cream cheese.
Nicole Harris says
That will work π
Victoria says
This was a such yummy, refreshing dip! I was in a little hurry to make it; I will say it is so much better the next day or after a few hours chilled. I did add a little Bacon and Chive seasoning I had on hand to substitute my in a rush this needs to taste good and set for an appetizer and it really hit the spot!
