I love dessert dips because they are totally easy to whip up and people go crazy for these indulgent treats! This Salted Caramel Pecan Cheesecake Dip is no exception. It couldn’t be a more simple recipe and it was definitely a crowd pleaser.
I made this cheesecake dip to highlight the Goya Maria Cookies that I received in my latest Degustabox. Degustabox is a monthly subscription box that is new to the U.S. Try Degustabox and get 10-15 full-size goodies delivered straight to your door! Shipping is free!
This month’s box seemed to be made for me. It contained a few of my personal favorite products. I LOVE Cow Tales (they are my favorite candy!), Chai Tea is my jam, meat sticks are my secret guilty pleasure and crunchy hazelnut chocolates . . . I mean, c’mon! My daughter is obsessed with ALO and Popchips so she was pretty excited about this month’s haul too.

These Goya Maria Cookies are perfect with Salted Caramel Pecan Cheesecake Dip because they taste similar to a cheesecake crust. The dip is great with apples too!
I used store bought Dulce de Leche for the caramel. I like that it has a thick consistency and strong flavor. You can find this in many stores, sometimes in the Latin section. Or, you can also make it yourself. Here are a few recipes: How To Make Dulce de Leche by Bakers Royale, Stove Top Dulce de Leche by Smitten Kitchen or Slow Cooker Dulce de Leche by Crazy For Crust.
Or, you can always use the store bought caramel sauce that you can find in the ice cream sundae section of your grocery store. You will get a much sweeter and more mild caramel flavor though.
This also makes a fantastic potluck, game day or holiday dessert! Nobody has to know that it only took you 5 minutes to make. It’s our little secret.
Don’t forget to sprinkle with flaked salt for that salted caramel flavor. Then it sounds fancier when you tell everyone that you made Salted Caramel Pecan Cheesecake Dip. Just wait for the Ooooh’s and Awwww’s.
I use this salt on just about everything >>> Maldon Sea Salt Flakes
