Big Mac In A Bowl – Keto Friendly
When following a low carb diet some of those past food indulgences can haunt you in the form of cravings. Fast food is one of those major cravings. That is why low carb meals like this Big Mac Bowl can be a lifesaver.
This Big Mac in a Bowl has all of the great flavors and textures of a Big Mac Cheeseburger without the bun. Ground beef, cheese, pickles and special sauce. Traditional Big Macs have onions and no tomatoes. I happen to prefer tomatoes and no onion so that is how I make it. You do it however you prefer.
We are also adding toasted sesame seeds as a nod to the missing bun.

How To Make Big Mac Salad
- Season ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Brown ground beef in large pan, leave the beef in bite sized chunks. Drain beef.
- Dressing: Mix all dressing ingredients until combined.
- Salad: Combine lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, pickles and ground beef. Top with dressing and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Is Big Mac Sauce Just Thousand Island Dressing
No, traditional Big Mac Sauce does not include ketchup. I prefer the ketchup ‘Thousand Island’ version so this dressing is basically Thousand Island. However, we are using dill relish instead of sweet relish which is also not traditional.
Feel free to make traditional Big Mac Sauce by omitting the ketchup and using sweet relish.

Delicious recipe. Added a bit of cucumber instead of the pickles in the salad. I’ll be making it again. For sure, it is better than having a big mac and takes care of any desire for fast food. Love all of your recipes that I have tried so far. You make cooking very interesting for me.
