Show of hands . . . who is ready for Spring!?!? As I am typing these words it is snowing outside. I’m ready, so ready.

We don’t have to wait for Spring to start enjoying tasty warm weather food. This Oven Baked Corn on the Cob is easy, flavorful and will brighten up even the darkest Winder day. Did I mention we are slathering our corn on the cob with Parmesan Basil Butter? Yeah, the ultimate corn experience 😆

How To Cook Corn On The Cob In The Oven Without Foil

It is not necessary to wrap corn in foil when roasting in the oven. In fact, you don’t even need the parchment paper ← that’s just for easy cleanup. To roast corn in the oven just follow the steps below.

  1. Coat corn cobs with oil, salt and pepper.
  2. Roast at 375ºF 35-45 minutes depending on how done you prefer your corn.
  3. Combine butter, parmesan and basil. Salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Once corn is done, slather with butter mixture and serve.

  • Unsalted Butter
  • Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Roasted Corn on the Cob in Oven with Parmesan Basil Butter

Cook Time: 35 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 8 Ears of Corn, (husks and silks removed)
  • 2-3 Tablespoons Oil
  • Salt/Pepper
  • 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter, (softened)
  • 5 Large Basil Leaves, (chopped)
  • 1/3 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt/Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ºF
  2. Place corn on rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Coat corn cobs with oil, salt and pepper.
  3. Roast at 375ºF 35-45 minutes depending on how done you prefer your corn. Optional: Broil on high the last 4-5 minutes to brown slightly.
  4. Combine butter, parmesan and basil. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Once corn is done, slather with butter mixture and serve.
