I am all about easy recipes. Not having the time to spend an entire day in the kitchen is the reason I create quick and easy {cheater} recipes like these Pineapple Coconut Hawaiian Sweet Rolls.
June 12-18 is Hawaiian Foods Week. I am celebrating with a few of Hawaii’s best brands:
King’s Hawaiian
Dole
SPAM®
Mauna Loa
Kona Brewing Company
It is no secret that I adore King’s Hawaiian rolls and use them often in my recipes. Cheater Cinnamon Rolls, Bacon & Egg Breakfast Cups and Oven Baked Hawaiian Pizza Sandwiches to name a few. I’m also a fan of SPAM®, Dole, Mauna Loa and Kona Brewing Co. I haven’t yet tried the King’s Hawaiian BBQ Sauces but I am looking forward to it!
My mom, daughter and I had a fabulous Hawaiian vacation last summer. We stayed at The Royal Hawaiian Waikiki and had tons of fun eating local foods, shopping and beach-bumming. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience full of fun, food and relaxation.
I was happy to be transported back to our island vacation, if only for a few moments. These Hawaiian inspired dessert rolls are a sweet bite of tropical heaven.
They are super simple to make. Just spread the pineapple-coconut filling inside King’s Hawaiian rolls, bake, brush with butter then glaze.
You end up with sweet, flavorful sticky rolls that will be devoured in an instant!

Can you make these I advance and travel with them?

I think the rolls may soak in the juices and could get a little soggy. But, I have not tried it myself.
