Oreo Cookie Dough Brownies
These bars have got to be one of the most indulgent treats ever! A layer of chocolate chip cookies, then Oreos topped with the chocolate brownie layer. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and hot fudge for the Ultimate Dessert. These Slutty Brownies are like giving all diets the finger!
Why Are They Called Slutty Brownies?
Back in 2011 Kevin & Amanda made these Cookie Dough Oreo Brownies. Some time after that they were remade and posted by other food bloggers and renamed Slutty Brownies. . .probably because they are so over-indulgent it is almost naughty.
This slutty brownie recipe is inspired by the original.
What Are Slutty Brownies?
They are dessert bars that combine 3 favorite treats. The first layer is chocolate chip cookies. The second layer is Oreos (regular or double stuffed). The third layer is fudgy brownies.

For the cookie layer
• unsalted butter
• brown sugar
• egg
• vanilla extract
• all purpose flour

SLUTTY BROWNIE RECIPE
This Slutty Brownie Recipe is the ultimate indulgent dessert. Layers of chocolate chip cookie dough, Oreos and brownies all in one amazing treat! The cure for any chocolate craving!
Ingredients
- Cookie Layer:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Oreo Layer:
- 16 Oreos (regular or double stuffed)
- Brownie Layer:
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- Topping:
- 5 Oreos, roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Line a 9x9 inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
- To make the cookie dough layer beat the butter and sugar until it is light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat again until smooth.
- Add the flour and baking soda, mix until combined.
- Add the chocolate chips, fold into the cookie dough.
- Transfer the cookie dough into prepared baking pan. Use your hands to press it down into an even layer. Put the pan into the freezer for 20 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
- To make the brownie layer, melt the butter and the chocolate in 30 second bursts in the microwave, stirring well each time. It will take approximately 1-2 minutes.
- Add the eggs and sugars into a large mixing bowl and whisk them until they are thick and frothy.
- Pour the melted chocolate, butter mixture and vanilla extract into the bowl while stirring. Stir until combined.
- Add the flour, salt and cocoa powder. Fold into the mixture gently taking care not to over mix.
- Take the cold cookie layer out of the freezer. Arrange 16 Oreos on top of the cookie base then pour over the brownie mixture. Use a spatula to spread out the brownie batter into an even layer.
- Sprinkle the chopped Oreos and chocolate chips over the top.
- Bake in the center of the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out mostly clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for a couple of hours before removing and slicing into 16 equal squares.
- Serve as is or with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of melted chocolate.
Notes
If you don’t have room in the freezer you can put the pan into the refrigerator while you make the brownie batter.
Used semi-sweet and/or milk chocolate chips. You can use whichever you prefer - white chocolate chips also work well.
You can substitute the brown sugar in this recipe for all white sugar if you prefer.
Likewise, you can use all brown or all white sugar in the brownie layer.
Store in an airtight container.
