This Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe is perfect for just about any cake. Cream cheese whipped into buttercream frosting and flavored with vanilla. It is lick-the-bowl good!
Okay, so while these cupcakes are awesomely delicious (and you can find that recipe below), this is really all about that luscious Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe. This is amazing on top of just about any cupcake. Heck, you could slather a dog biscuit with this cream cheese frosting and I would consider eating it. Who am I kidding . . . I would totally lick this off a dog biscuit!
Super simple ingredients: butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla. I used my favorite Rodelle Vanilla Paste when I made the frosting for my Easy Apple Cake. For this Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe I used Rodelle Pure Vanilla Extract to keep it completely white. Both taste great so it is your choice.
Whip up the frosting until it is fluffy and you are good to go. Now all you gotta do is try not to lick the bowl clean!
For these cupcakes I used a ziplock bag with one corner cut off to pipe the frosting.
It’s super high-tech around here.
