Slow Cooker Jambalaya Recipe

KEY INGREDIENTS

Sweet Onion

Long Grain White Rice

Chicken Breast

Green & Red Pepper

Andouille Sausage

Crushed Tomatoes

Chicken Broth

Cajun Seasoning

Thyme, Oregano, Smoked Paprika, Bay Leaves

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in large slow cooker except salt, pepper and rice. Cook on High for 3-4 hours.

Add salt & pepper then stir in rice, cover and cook on high for approximately 30 minutes. Discard bay leaves & serve!

TOP TIPS

Once the rice is added, keep a close eye to avoid overcooking.

Feel free to add more broth or water as necessary.

You can make this with or without tomatoes - I prefer the tomato version.
