I get a mad craving for Chinese take-out every month or so. But honestly, I’ve been a bit underwhelmed with most of the restaurants in my area. So now I make my own homemade take-out and it is so much better! Not only do I know exactly what is in the recipe, I can also flavor the dishes however I prefer. This Orange Soy Chicken Broccoli is a simple yet flavorful dinner made with quality ingredients.
The sauce is a blend of Bitter Orange Hero Fruit Spread and soy sauce. The Bitter Orange Hero Fruit Spread brings that bright orange flavor to the dish without being overly sweet.

I make my chicken and broccoli super saucy! For me, there is just never enough sauce. In keeping this dish quick and easy I only use chicken and broccoli. I also take it a step further and use pre-cut broccoli florets. Add more veggies if you prefer. I like to add mushrooms and onions.
We like ours served over rice but this would be great with noodles as well.
This is one of those recipes that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. You can give your family a tasty nutritious meal that doesn’t take a long time to prepare. If you really want to make it special, don’t forget the chopsticks and fortune cookies!
