Cabbage Fried With Bacon
This is a low carb recipe that comes together super quick and easy. Plus you can’t beat the cabbage bacon combo, they were made to go together.
This makes a great side dish, but, could definitely be enjoyed as a meal all on it’s own. It reheats well too so it works for meal prep.
Is Fried Cabbage Good For You
Cabbage is full of fiber and is a wonderfully low carb, low calorie veg.
As far as the bacon being healthy, depends who you ask. That being said, the bacon fits in with a low carb, Keto Diet. Just be sure to get the minimally processed no-sugar bacon.

- No Sugar Bacon
- Green Cabbage
- Garlic Powder
- Smoked Paprika
- Salt/Pepper
How To Make Fried Cabbage
- Cook bacon in large pan over medium/high heat until crisp. Remove from pan and set aside. Leave 4 Tablespoons bacon grease in pan, remove any excess.
- Add cabbage, garlic powder, paprika and pepper to pan and cook in bacon grease for 10 minutes, stirring a few times.
- Return bacon to pan. Cook 1 more minute. Salt to taste.

- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
