Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 1 Lb Italian sausage
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 pizza dough ball store bought, room temperature
  • 1 ½ cups pizza sauce store bought
  • 1 medium red bell pepper sliced
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 4 oz pepperoni slices

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450º F.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet on medium heat with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Break up sausage. Add a bit of salt and pepper and cook for 6 minutes or until cooked through. Remove, drain grease and set aside.
  • Grease a baking sheet with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Place the pizza dough on baking sheet. Work the pizza dough evenly with your fingers, stretching to the edges.
  • Spread pizza sauce with a spoon on the dough. Add Italian sausage, bell pepper, cheese and pepperoni.
  • Bake on middle rack for 20 minutes.
  • Let pizza cool for 1-2 minutes. Slice and serve.
