Use scissors or a sharp knife to cut the rainbow belts into 1.5 inch strips (or just a little longer than the size of the gummy bear) and set aside.
On a large tray or board, line up the jello shot cups.
Boil one cup of water on the stovetop or heat it in the microwave using a microwave safe bowl or measuring cup.
Use a whisk, stir the package of jello mix into boiling water until dissolved, about 2 minutes.
Add one cup cold water (or juice, or alcohol, or a mixture of it) and stir well to combine.
Carefully pour the mixture into each of the 20 jello shot cup, about halfway full.
Transfer the jello shots into the refrigerator to chill for 3-4 hours, or until fully set.
Once set, assemble the cups by putting one gummy bear into a peach ring and placing onto the jello. If using rainbow belts, lay one piece on top of the jello then lay a gummy bear on top.
Keep chilled until ready to serve.
