Peach Barbecue Sauce Recipe

This Peach Barbecue Sauce Recipe is fresh, easy and great for grilling! Use up those fresh ripe peaches in this homemade barbecue sauce. This is a Paleo compliant recipe, dairy free, gluten free and vegan.

Ingredients

  • 15 ounce Can Organic Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Fresh Peaches (pitted, peeled & chopped)
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon Coconut Aminos (or soy sauce)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt

Instructions

  • In small sauce pan, bring all ingredients to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for approximately 30-35 minutes or until thickened. (sauce will thicken more once cooled)
  • Remove from heat and cool.
  • Blend for 2 minutes. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate until served.

Notes

*makes 3½ cups*
**add 1-2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar for a tangy sauce or 1-2 chopped Chipotle Peppers for spicy**
