Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Pound Fresh Green Beans - trimmed
  • 3 Garlic Cloves - minced
  • 1 teaspoon Grated Lemon Zest
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Salt/Pepper - to taste

Instructions

  • Heat oil over medium-high in a large skillet with a fitted lid.
  • Add pepper flakes and green beans. Toss to coat.
  • Cover pan and reduce heat to medium.
  • Cook for 7 minutes, stirring every minute or two.
  • Remove lid and add the garlic, stir. Add lemon zest, juice, salt and pepper. Toss then serve.
