Lobster Roll Recipe

This Warm Lobster Roll Recipe is an easy way to make this indulgent meal at home. Instead of mayonnaise we are using warm butter and herbs, also know as a Connecticut Lobster Roll.

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Chopped Cooked Lobster 7-8 4oz tails
  • 3 Tablespoons Melted Butter*
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Chopped Chives
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Fresh Chopped Dill
  • Juice from 1/2 Lemon
  • Salt/Pepper - to taste
  • 4 Soft Hotdog Style Buns I use Hawaiian hotdog buns

Instructions

  • Prepare lobster meat using preferred method.
  • Chop lobster meat into bite sized chunks. Toss with melted butter*, chives, dill, salt, pepper and a squeeze of lemon juice.
  • Brush melted butter on the inside of the bread rolls and heat in the oven at 350ºF for 4-5 minutes to warm.
  • Spoon warm lobster mixture into rolls. Sprinkle with extra chives. Serve warm.

*If Butter Poaching Lobster for this recipe use the poaching butter instead of plain melted butter.
