Grapefruit Kale Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Ice
  • 1 Extra Ripe Banana
  • 1/4 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt optional
  • 1/2 Cup Fresh or Frozen Pineapple*
  • 1 Ruby Red Grapefruit- Juiced approx 2/3 cup
  • 3 Cups Kale - ribs and stems removed approx 3-4 kale leaves

Instructions

  • Puree all ingredients together in a blender.
  • I blend my green smoothies for a good 2-3 minutes so that the kale is pureed as much as possible.
  • Serve Immediately.

Notes

*I used frozen pineapple.
