Easy Hamburger Gravy Recipe
This Easy Hamburger Gravy Recipe is a quick, inexpensive dinner idea that is perfect for chilly winter nights. Gravy made with ground beef tastes great over mashed potatoes, rice or pasta.
Cook ground beef and onions in large fry pan over medium/high heat. Drain oil and return to pan.
Add butter and allow it to melt, stir into beef. Sprinkle flour over the meat and stir to evenly coat. Cook for 3 minutes while stirring.
Add broth, garlic powder, Italian season, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Bring to gentle boil then reduce heat to medium. Cook and stir occasionally until gravy thickens. (about 5 minutes)
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve over mashed potatoes, pasta or rice.
Notes
*careful with the salt as the beef broth will have salt as well
