CREAMY MASHED POTATOES WITH CHEDDAR
Super CREAMY MASHED POTATOES WITH CHEDDAR are a simple yet indulgent side dish. Mashed potatoes made with russet potatoes and flavored with shredded Irish Cheddar cheese.
Bring large pot of water to a boil. Peel and quarter potatoes, add to the boiling water. Boil the potatoes until fork tender.
Drain the potatoes then transfer to a large bowl. While still hot add the 6 Tablespoons of butter, cream, sour cream, and ¼ teaspoon of salt to start. Using a potato masher or electric mixer, mash or whip the potatoes until the butter has melted and is mixed in.
Add more salt, butter, or cream to taste and preference.
Notes
Depending on the size of your potatoes you may need a little more cream in the mash.
