Blackberry Frozen Yogurt

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Whole Milk
  • 1/4 cup ultra-fine Sugar
  • 8 ounces of Blackberries
  • 1 cup non-fat Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla optional

Instructions

  • Strain the blackberries using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth. This should produce about a 1/2 cup of blackberry juice. Discard blackberry seeds and pulp (or if you have any interesting uses for blackberry pulp, let me know). Mix the blackberry juice, yogurt, milk, sugar and vanilla together until smooth.Now either pour the mixture into your ice cream maker or pour into a container and freeze.

Notes

This recipe makes 1 pint of frozen yogurt.
