APPLE DUMP CAKE RECIPE
Making this APPLE DUMP CAKE RECIPE starts with a layer of apple pie filling, which is topped with dry cake mix and apple pie spices, then drizzled with melted butter. The cake is then baked, all without a mixing bowl in sight!
Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°c. Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Pour apple pie filling into baking dish. Sprinkle over half of the apple pie spice and stir to combine. Spread the filling evenly over the base of the dish.
Sprinkle the vanilla cake mix evenly over the apple pie filling, then evenly sprinkle over the remaining apple pie spice. Drizzle with the melted butter.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until lightly golden and the apple is bubbling. Allow to sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve with vanill aice cream and/or caramel sauce.
